At RipTo, we know that securing the latest hobby box releases is a priority for serious collectors. Our Pre-Order Policy is designed to provide a fair and transparent way for you to reserve upcoming products before their official release date.
As a professional retailer based in Spokane, Washington, we adhere to Google Merchant Center requirements, ensuring that all pre-order listings provide clear expectations regarding availability and fulfillment.
1. How Pre-Orders Work
A pre-order allows you to reserve a product that has been announced by manufacturers (such as Topps, Panini, or Upper Deck) but has not yet been officially released or arrived at our facility.
Reservation: Placing a pre-order guarantees your allocation of the product from our confirmed incoming stock.
Payment: Payment is required in full at the time of checkout to secure your reservation.
2. Estimated Release Dates
Every pre-order product page will display an Estimated Release Date or an Availability Date.
Manufacturer Delays: Please note that release dates are set by the manufacturers and are subject to change. While we strive to provide the most accurate information, RipTo is not responsible for industry-wide delays or shifts in production timelines.
Updates: If a significant delay occurs, we will update the product page or contact you directly via the email associated with your order.
3. Shipping and Fulfillment
We prioritize the shipment of pre-orders to ensure collectors receive their hobby boxes as close to the official release date as possible.
Dispatch Timeline: Pre-orders typically ship within 24–48 hours of the product arriving at our Spokane warehouse and passing through the official manufacturer release “street date.”
Mixed Orders: If your order contains both “In-Stock” items and “Pre-Order” items, the entire order will be held and shipped together once the pre-order product becomes available. To receive in-stock items sooner, we recommend placing separate orders.
4. Cancellations and Market Value
The trading card market is highly volatile, with values fluctuating frequently.
Finality of Pre-Orders: Because we reserve specific allocations for you, pre-orders are generally considered final.
Market Price Protection: We do not accept cancellations or offer price adjustments due to changes in the market price of a hobby box between the time of your pre-order and the release date.
Cancellation Requests: If you need to request a cancellation before the item has shipped, please contact us. Approved cancellations may be subject to a processing fee to cover non-refundable transaction costs.
5. Allocation Adjustments
In rare instances, manufacturers may “short-ship” or reduce the total number of boxes provided to retailers. If we are unable to fulfill your pre-order due to a manufacturer-side allocation cut, you will be notified immediately and issued a full refund to your original payment method.
